WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 -- The National Gallery of Art issued the following news release:
George Morrison (Grand Portage Band of Chippewa, 1919-2000) is perhaps best known for his brilliantly colored paintings of the late 1950s and 1960s, and his wood collages begun in the mid-1960s.
