WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
By a vote of 72-25, the Senate passed a short-term government spending bill to fund the federal government through December 16th and provide emergency funding for critical needs--including $1 billion in supplemental appropriations for LIHEAP.
