Save the Children: Testimonies From Families Fleeing Violence in North-East Syria

FAIRFIELD, Connecticut, Oct. 20 -- Save the Children issued the following news release:

More than 13,000 people - including approximately 5,200 children - are currently seeking refuge in more than 30 collective shelters. These shelters are schools and unfinished buildings without electricity, as well as open fields across Al Hasakeh, Tal Tamer and Al Raqqa. An estimated 70,000 children have been displaced since the start of the latest military operation in North-East Syria on Octobe . . .
