WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a $20.7 million Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) loan to the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee to help finance a new drinking water treatment plant. This loan highlights how WIFIA financing can help smaller communities upgrade aging water infrastructure.
