WASHINGTON, Oct. 16 (TNSFR) -- The University of Texas at San Antonio Center for Archaeological Research will repatriate human remains representing 19 Native American individuals and 1,111 associated funerary objects to one of seven tribes.
The remains and objects originated from four archaeological sites in Wharton County, Texas, occupied during precolonial periods spanning approximately 11,000 B.C.E. to 1500 C.E.
