WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 (TNSLrpt) -- The U.S. Geological Survey issued 'Special Contributing Area Loading Program User's Manual,' Open-File Report 2026-1030, by Richard J. Huizinga and David H. Dupre, explaining how a computer model tracks stormwater and sanitary flows through Chicago-area combined sewers. Prepared in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the manual describes a tool used in accounting for Illinois' diversion of water from Lake Michigan.
