WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 (TNSFR) -- California State University, Sacramento, intends to repatriate 8,593 cultural items to the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians of California.
The collection includes flaked and ground stones, floral and faunal remains, historic materials, soil and flotation samples, thermally altered rocks, unmodified stones, modified bones, stones and shells, pigments and uncatalogued materials.
