WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 (TNSFR) -- The Harvard University Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, intends to repatriate two associated funerary objects to four Native American tribes.
The objects are two lots of ceramics collected from graves near Drakes Creek in Sumner County, Tennessee, by Edwin Curtiss in 1879 during a Peabody Museum expedition.
