WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 (TNSFR) -- The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields intends to repatriate a pipe to the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
The pipe is an unassociated funerary object excavated from a mound near Talbotton, Talbot County, Georgia. The notice states that it was originally collected by Charles C.
