WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 (TNSFR) -- The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, intends to repatriate three cultural items to the Metlakatla Indian Community, Annette Island Reserve.
The items are one headdress frontlet, one raven rattle and one halibut grease dish, all identified as objects of cultural patrimony. The museum's records identify the items as culturally affiliated with the Tsimshian people.
