WASHINGTON, Sept. 24 (TNSFR) -- Auburn University at Montgomery, Alabama, has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects and determined they have a cultural connection to 1 of 13 Native American tribes and tribal towns.

The remains represent one individual of Native American ancestry. The collection includes 556 associated funerary objects, consisting of pottery sherds, lithics, faunal bones, shell, metal objects, glass shards and fired clay.
