WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (TNSFR) -- The Huntington Museum of Art, West Virginia, intends to repatriate four unassociated funerary objects to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, according to a notice published by the U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service.
The objects are three stone pipes and one fossilized coral pipe. Two stone pipes and the coral pipe were removed from Asheville, North Carolina, while another stone pipe came from Frazer Farm in Frazier Bottom, West Vi . . .
