History Colorado to Repatriate 20 Cultural Items to Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe

WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (TNSFR) -- History Colorado, Denver, intends to repatriate 20 cultural items to the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of the Cheyenne River Reservation, South Dakota, according to a notice published by the U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service.

The items include eagle bone whistles, pipe stems, quilled armbands, pouches, beaded pipe bags, a cradleboard hood, rattle, horn spoon, leggings, shirt, headdress, moccasin, horse whip, and a drawing.
