WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (TNSFR) -- The Birmingham Museum of Art, Alabama, intends to repatriate human remains representing three Native American individuals to 15 Indian Tribes, according to a notice published by the U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service.

The remains were disinterred from an unknown location, possibly in Alabama, before 1954 and acquired by the Birmingham Public Library. The library loaned them to the museum in 1954, and permanently transferred the coll . . .
