WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 -- The House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Federal Lands released the following written testimony by William M. Thomas, chairman of the Route 66 Road Ahead Partnership, from a Sept. 2, 2026, hearing on the Route 66 National Historic Trail Designation Act (H.R. 5470). Thomas is also a member of the U.S. Route 66 Centennial Commission.
