WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 -- New York Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani signed Introduction 0655 into law during a city press briefing, establishing permanent, year-round outdoor dining on New York City roadways. The legislation eliminates former seasonal restrictions that required restaurant owners to dismantle and rebuild roadway structures annually between November 30 and March 31.
