NEW YORK, Aug. 13 -- New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani announced at Walter Gladwin Park on Tremont Avenue that construction has begun on the Bronx's first dedicated busway, designed to improve service for about 39,000 daily Bx36 riders.
