ITA Approves Duty-Free Entry of Scientific Instruments

WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration approved nine applications for duty-free entry of scientific instruments after receiving no public comments on their proposed imports.

The approved applications cover instruments for battery research, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, biological research, groundwater analysis, X-ray studies and electric-grid simulations. Applicants include UChicago Argonne LLC, Lawrence Berkeley . . .
