Media Tip Sheet: NOAA Lowers Hurricane Forecast

NOAA is now forecasting a 75% chance of a below-normal Atlantic hurricane season, lowering its prediction to seven to 13 named storms, two to six hurricanes and zero to two major hurricanes. The agency says strengthening El Nino conditions are the primary factor suppressing Atlantic storm activity.
