WASHINGTON, Aug. 8 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Communications Commission proposes replacing UHF channel 20 with VHF channel 10 for television broadcasting in Elko, Nevada.
The proposal responds to a petition from Reno (KENV-TV) Licensee Inc., which holds a construction permit for a UHF channel 20 facility. The licensee says substituting VHF channel 10 would allow KENV-DT to remain on the air and continue serving viewers within its service area.
