WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed reissuing the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System general permit for oil and gas exploration facilities in federal waters of Cook Inlet, Alaska.
The draft permit would authorize specified pollutant discharges from exploration facilities subject to limits and requirements intended to minimize pollution and protect water quality.
