WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has adopted a final rule requiring inspections of engine couplings on more than 4,100 Airbus helicopters registered in the U.S. after reports that an engine flange may have been installed incorrectly during production, creating a risk of power loss and loss of aircraft control.
