WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced nine single-source cooperative agreement awards totaling about $6.7 million in federal fiscal year 2026 to strengthen influenza surveillance and infectious disease response in Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Uganda and Zambia.
