WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has proposed establishing Class C airspace over Wilmington International Airport in North Carolina while removing the existing Class D airspace of the airport and eliminating the Terminal Radar Service Area to improve air traffic management and reduce the risk of midair collisions.
The proposed rule would require pilots operating within the Class C airspace to establish two-way radio . . .
