WASHINGTON, July 31 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has granted a petition from Mercedes-Benz AG and Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, Atlanta, Georgia, finding that a brake warning label noncompliance affecting about 27,375 model year 2019-2020 vehicles is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety, exempting the automaker from federal notification and remedy requirements.
