WASHINGTON, July 31 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration issued a rule requiring aircraft equipped with radio altimeters to meet minimum performance standards designed to withstand interference from wireless signals in the Upper C-band, establishing compliance deadlines through 2034 to maintain aviation safety as additional spectrum becomes available for wireless services.
