WASHINGTON, July 31 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking public comment on a proposed consent decree that would resolve Clean Air Act and Arkansas environmental law claims against Domtar A.W. LLC over emissions at its kraft paper and pulp mill in Ashdown, Arkansas.
The company would pay a $1.5 million civil penalty and complete injunctive relief, including two mitigation projects, under the proposed settlement.
