WASHINGTON, July 31 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General has issued an interim final rule establishing a departmentwide process for members of the public to petition the agency to issue, amend or repeal regulations, creating standardized procedures for submitting, reviewing and responding to rulemaking requests.
The rule takes effect July 31.
