WASHINGTON, July 31 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs will implement updated irrigation assessment rates for multiple Indian irrigation projects beginning Jan. 1, 2027, following a review of public comments and a determination that higher assessments are needed to recover the costs of administering, operating, maintaining and rehabilitating irrigation systems serving tribal lands.
