WASHINGTON, July 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families Office of Head Start announced plans to award $143.4 million in single-source grants to multiple Head Start organizations in Florida, South Carolina and Puerto Rico for hurricane recovery efforts.
The funding supports expenses tied to Hurricanes Fiona and Ian, including replacing damaged facilities and property and expanding mental health services.
