WASHINGTON, July 28 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to redesignate Michigan's Berrien and Muskegon areas from nonattainment to attainment for the 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards after monitoring data showed both areas met the standard during 2023 through 2025.
The proposed action would also approve Michigan maintenance plans intended to keep both areas in attainment through 2036, establish motor vehicle emissions budgets for 20 . . .
