WASHINGTON, July 27 -- The House Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Technology Modernization released the following written testimony by Sterling Thomas, chief scientist of science, technology assessment and analytics at the Government Accountability Office, from a July 13, 2026, hearing entitled "PACT Act Implementation: Modernizing VA Disability Claims Through Effective Technology." The PACT Act is the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act.
