WASHINGTON, July 26 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is accepting hearing requests on Radiant Nuclear LLC, El Segundo, California's application to possess nuclear material in Tennessee.
The application covers Radiant's planned R-50 microreactor facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where the company seeks authorization to possess coated uranium fuel particles enriched to less than 20 weight percent uranium-235 and load the fuel into assemblies for commercial micror . . .
