WASHINGTON, July 24 -- The House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations and Subcommittee on Indian and Insular Affairs released the following testimony by Grace Bulltail, assistant professor of environmental studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, from a July 14, 2026, joint hearing entitled "Innovative Technologies and Initiatives to Tackle the MMIP Crisis in Indian Country." MMIP stands for missing and murdered indigenous persons.
