FAA Orders Wing Inspection Revisions for Textron King Air Aircraft After Finding Incorrect Maintenance Intervals

WASHINGTON, July 24 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has issued an emergency airworthiness directive requiring operators of affected Textron Aviation Inc., Wichita, Kansas, Model B300 and B300C airplanes to revise maintenance programs after identifying incorrect wing inspection intervals that could allow structural cracks to go undetected.
