WASHINGTON, July 15 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice lodged a proposed consent decree on July 10 resolving Clean Water Act claims stemming from the Dec. 2022 Keystone Pipeline rupture in Washington County, Kansas.
The agreement requires South Bow (USA) LP and South Bow Infrastructure Operations Inc. to pay a $26,867,789 civil penalty and implement measures to reduce the likelihood of future spills.
