EPA Proposes Approval of Missouri Air Plan Revisions for Nitrogen Oxide Engine Emissions Rule

WASHINGTON, July 15 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed approving revisions to Missouri's State Implementation Plan (SIP) governing nitrogen oxide (NOX) emissions from large stationary internal combustion engines, saying the changes remain consistent with Clean Air Act requirements while updating compliance, reporting and recordkeeping provisions.

Comments are due on August 14, 2026.
