WASHINGTON, July 14 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Communications Commission has proposed replacing vacant FM Channel 248A with Channel 258A at Whitehall, Michigan, seeking public comments by Aug. 24, 2026.
The proposed rule would amend the table of FM Allotments by substituting Channel 258A for vacant Channel 248A at Whitehall. The FCC said an engineering analysis found the proposed channel meets minimum distance separation requirements with a transmitter site restricted to 13 kilometers ( . . .
