WASHINGTON, July 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking public comment on whether it should develop a general permit program for coal combustion residuals (CCR) facilities that would allow temporary permit coverage while individual federal or state permits are pending. Comments are due on Oct. 13, 2026.
