WASHINGTON, July 10 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration denied a Pennsylvania physician's application for a registration to handle controlled substances after finding felony drug convictions and exclusion from federal health care programs barred approval under federal law.

The agency said Ruth Jones, D.O., of Everett, Pennsylvania, defaulted in the administrative proceeding after failing to submit a timely hearing request following an Order . . .
