WASHINGTON, July 9 -- Speaking at a stop gun violence event in Coney Island, New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani emphasized that the city will fully hold the perpetrators accountable for the holiday weekend shooting that left eight neighbors injured. Mamdani led attendees in a moment of silence for the shattered family and condemned the gun violence that interrupted a peaceful Fourth of July holiday barbecue.
