WASHINGTON, July 2 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has proposed an airworthiness directive requiring inspections and possible replacement of main transmission drive shaft couplings on selected MD Helicopters models after reports of manufacturing damage that could lead to power loss and emergency landings.
