FAA Expands Boeing 737 MAX Airworthiness Directive to Address Additional Circuit Breaker Risks

WASHINGTON, July 2 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has expanded an airworthiness directive for Boeing 737 MAX airplanes, requiring airlines to revise flight manuals with additional emergency procedures after determining that more environmental control system circuit breakers could create unsafe cabin temperature conditions during flight.

The final rule supersedes Airworthiness Directive 2026-04-05 and applies to all Boeing Model 737-8 . . .
