WASHINGTON, July 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking that would adopt an airworthiness directive for some The Boeing Company Model 747-400 series airplanes, requiring repetitive inspections of potable water and waste water systems to prevent leaks from reaching the electrical equipment bay.
