WASHINGTON, June 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has proposed an airworthiness directive that would expand inspection requirements for tail rotor blade assemblies on Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH EC135 and EC635T2+ helicopters after identifying another blade configuration that could be vulnerable to cracking caused by intergranular corrosion.
