FAA Orders Airbus A321neo Fuselage Inspections After Manufacturing Process Deviation

WASHINGTON, June 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has ordered repetitive structural inspections for affected Airbus A321neo airplanes after discovering manufacturing deviations that could reduce fuselage fatigue life.

The Federal Aviation Administration adopted a final rule requiring repetitive inspections of fuselage frame foot joint connections on certain Airbus SAS Model A321-251NX, A321-252NX, A321-253NX, A321-271NX and A321-272 . . .
