WASHINGTON, June 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed approving California's request to remove outdated air pollution control rules from the Riverside County portion of the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District State Implementation Plan, concluding the rescissions would not interfere with Clean Air Act requirements because the rules are no longer needed or have been replaced by equivalent regulations.
