WASHINGTON, June 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety and Health Administration is removing outdated federal requirements governing approval of conveyor belts used in underground coal mines, saying the changes eliminate obsolete regulatory language while preserving existing safety standards for miners.
