WASHINGTON, June 16 -- Speaking at the House of Commons, British Secretary of State for Defence Dan Jarvis announced that Royal Marine Commandos and the National Crime Agency successfully seized a Russian shadow fleet vessel in the English Channel. The complex, six-hour military operation took place 25 miles south of the Isle of Wight, where forces fast-roped onto the deck of the SMYRTOS, a 244-meter-long oil tanker carrying sanctioned Russian oil under a suspected false flag.
