WASHINGTON, June 15 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has launched the environmental review process for a proposed dual-unit small modular reactor facility at the Palisades Energy Center, Covert, Michigan. The agency announced its intent to prepare an environmental impact statement examining the potential effects of a phased construction permit application and limited work authorization request submitted by Palisades SMR LLC, Camden, New Jersey.
